Ant Control Services
We find where they’re coming from, not just what’s on the counter.
What we do about it
A few ants on the counter almost never means a few ants. Ants scout, and once one finds food, moisture, or a way in, it leaves a scent trail for the rest of the colony to follow. What looks like a small problem on a Tuesday can be a steady line of traffic by Friday. Different species behave differently — carpenter ants tunnel through damp or decaying wood and can cause real structural damage, while odorous house ants are mostly a kitchen nuisance that spreads fast — so knowing which one you’re dealing with changes the whole plan.
How it works
Inspect
We find what's active, where it's coming from, and what's attracting it.
Treat
Targeted treatment at the source, using Integrated Pest Management, not blanket spraying.
Protect
Seal, monitor and follow up. Unlimited callbacks for covered pests on a plan.
What to know
Finding where they're actually coming from
The hard part isn’t seeing the ants, it’s finding the nest. Colonies hide in wall voids, under slabs, in soil against the foundation — places that move along electrical lines and plumbing rather than sitting in plain sight. We trace the trail back to the source rather than treating what’s visible on the counter, because spraying the trail just scatters the colony and makes it harder to find next time.
How we treat it
Once we know the species and the source, we usually combine baiting — which lets ants carry the treatment back to the colony themselves — with targeted treatment at entry points and foundations. Timing matters too: colonies are most active in warmer months, so catching an infestation early keeps it from spreading into satellite nests.
Keeping them from coming back
Sealed food storage, fixed leaks, and weather-stripped doors and windows go a long way. So does keeping mulch and vegetation trimmed back from the foundation, since dense growth against the house gives ants an easy bridge indoors. For properties with recurring issues, we recommend a follow-up visit to catch new activity before it becomes a repeat infestation.
Covered by our service plans
Most of what’s on this page is covered under our Essential plan from $50/month, or our Comprehensive plan from $65/month with rodent and stinging-insect coverage. Both include unlimited callbacks between visits.
Frequently asked questions
What are the early warning signs of an ant infestation?
A few stragglers showing up repeatedly near food or moisture, fine sawdust-like debris near baseboards (a sign of possible carpenter ant activity), or a visible trail moving in and out of a small gap. Catching it at this stage means treating one colony instead of several.
How do you find a nest I can't see?
We track movement back to the source and look for the signs that give it away — moisture buildup, structural damage, activity concentrated near a foundation. Once we find it, targeted bait goes to work on the whole colony, not just the ants you’ve spotted.
What can I do to keep them from coming back?
Store food in sealed containers, fix leaks promptly, and seal obvious entry points around doors and windows. It won’t stop every ant that wanders onto your property, but it removes the conditions that turn a scout into a colony.
