Rodent Exterminator
Trapping and sealing, not just trapping.
What we do about it
Mice and rats breed fast and squeeze through gaps most people wouldn’t think twice about — a hole the size of a dime is enough for a mouse. One rodent almost always means more nearby. Beyond the obvious mess, they chew through wiring and insulation (a real fire risk) and contaminate food and surfaces with droppings and urine that can spread disease. Scratching in the walls at night is usually the first sign something’s already established, not the first sign something’s about to happen.
How it works
Inspect
We find what's active, where it's coming from, and what's attracting it.
Treat
Targeted treatment at the source, using Integrated Pest Management, not blanket spraying.
Protect
Seal, monitor and follow up. Unlimited callbacks for covered pests on a plan.
What to know
What we look for first
Droppings, gnaw marks, grease rub marks along walls, and nesting material tell us the size of the problem, the species, and roughly how long it’s been going on. Mice tend to nest indoors in hidden spaces; rats are more likely to burrow around foundations or come in through sewer lines. That distinction changes where we focus.
Trapping and sealing, not just trapping
Traps handle what’s already inside, but exclusion — sealing the gaps they’re using to get in, around vents, utility lines, doors, and foundations — is what actually stops the cycle. In larger infestations we also look at food sources, waste containers, and moisture issues that are drawing them in, because a property that still looks appealing to rodents will keep attracting new ones even after the current colony is gone.
Covered by our service plans
Most of what’s on this page is covered under our Essential plan from $50/month, or our Comprehensive plan from $65/month with rodent and stinging-insect coverage. Both include unlimited callbacks between visits.
Frequently asked questions
What are the earliest signs of a rodent problem?
Light scratching in walls at night, small droppings in cabinets or storage areas, chew marks on packaging or wiring, or a faint musky odor in closed spaces like basements and attics. Acting on these early usually means dealing with a handful of rodents instead of an established colony.
Why do they keep coming back after I clean and set traps?
Traps and cleaning help short-term, but unless every entry point is sealed and food sources are secured, new rodents replace the ones removed almost immediately. Long-term control comes down to a thorough inspection plus exclusion — not just trapping.
Is rodent season really a thing?
Activity does spike in cooler months as rodents look for warmth indoors, but infestations happen year-round wherever there’s reliable shelter and food. Regular inspections matter more than timing your defense around a single season.
